Have u worked with Quad monitors attached to a single computer??

Till now I am using a 19″ monitor and I thought it was ok but recently I read a post on http://blog.domaintools.com and I was aghast. You know what?? of http://domaintools.com is working with Quad (four) monitors plugged in to one cpu. He has setup this using just Windows XP with two Nvidia Quadro FX 570 video cards and all these monitors add up to 11,720,000 (11.7 million) pixels. Quite impressive. Don’t belive me……Just go to this page and read all about it yourself. Jay claims that his has increased by 10 minutes a day by using this quad monitor setup. It doesn’t stop here. Few visitors to his has expressed almost similar feelings. I am still in dreamworld. You better head to the original post.

Target uid/gid Mismatch with Directory or Program

This Sunday at 2 AM, I got a call from one client, who complained that  on his website stopped working all of a sudden. This being peak season for his business, he was a worried lot and wanted me to give it an immediate attention. I rushed to my workstation. Client was on phone telling me the urls and script names which stopped working. I saw it was throwing “500 ”. My first question to client was if he has made any changes to the scripts or re-uploaded or changed the permissions on the files.

Changes in Domain Transfer Process (.COM / .NET)

To put a full stop to all this has made it mandatory for all domain transfers to be supported by a mandatory AUTH-INFO Code (or Transfer Authorization Secret).

Renewal Rules for .UK Domain Names

While most of the domain TLDs (like .com / .net / .in) expires as per its registration date, rules are different in case of .UK . The .UK domains expiring on any day of a given month should be renewed or deleted before the 25th of the same month.
