Google, after acquiring Doubleclick, has started offering new ways for publishers to maximize their ad revenue. In continuing efforts to provide publishers of all sizes with tools to improve revenue opportunities and productivity, today announced a new tool with the beta launch of Google Ad Manager. Google Ad Manager is a hosted ad management solution that can help publishers sell, schedule, deliver, and measure all of directly-sold and network-based inventory. It offers an intuitive and simple user experience with Google speed and a tagging process so publishers can spend more time working with their advertisers and less time on their ad management solution. Recently Google made changes in verification process for Adsense publishers. To make sure that the AdSense account details, publishers provide to Google are valid and correct, it uses two methods of verification. First one is using PIN (Personal Identification Number) and second is Phone Number verification. Google uses one or both of these verification methods in order to ensure the security and accuracy of adsense publisher’s information so that payments from AdSense account can be released in favour of the publisher.

Recently many registrars announced a dip in pricing for .INFO domain names. As per the .INFO promotion, pricing for any new .INFO domain name for an End User has come down to Rs. 121/= (plus / minus Rs. 15 depending on the Registrar). Earlier .INFO domain names were being sold in between Rs. 400/= to Rs. 500/= per domain year.

Paypal, most widely used credit card payment method over the net, on 1st November 2007, announced a new fund withdrawal feature for it’s users from India. Indian Users of Paypal can withdraw funds directly to their Indian Bank Accounts. Users having account with State Bank of India, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, ING VYSYA Bank, UTI Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, and Citibank can avail this benefit.

DotRegistrar (www.dotregistrar.com), one of the leading domain registration service providers, is in the process of upgrading all its client accounts and domains to the MyDomain.com Registrar system. As per a notice on www.dotrgeistrar.com, DotRegistrar will become part of MyDomain, in the coming weeks. With this upgradation some of the features of Dot Registrar have gone while some new features (free services) like URL Forwarding, Email Forwarding and DNS management has been added. However, this comes at a cost to existing clients of Dot Registrar.
